TBC CRAFTER’S HOP (#TBCCRAFTERS) – 05/30/2013

I saw something like this on “Paper Wings” website and had to make one for myself!  What a better way to show off those boring old sticky pads than making them into something fancy, right?  This could be a great gift, as well, if you personalized it with whatever meant something special to that person.  Any styles, colors, whatever could be used.  Hope you enjoy!!

 “Fancy Sticky Notes” Craft
Materials Needed:
  • Clear Photo Frame (Magnet, Standing, Etc.)
  • Scrapbook Paper
  • Ribbon
  • Sticky Notes
  • Embellishments
  • Scissors
  • Glue (I used Glue Dots)
  • & Time!!

  Instructions:

Begin by removing the store insert and sizing it on the piece of scrapbook paper you wish to use.

Cut out the paper to match that size.  If the piece doesn’t fit, just trim the edges as much as you need to finish.

 
Remove the backing paper from the sticky notes and secure it onto the frame where you want it to be.


 

Now you can add ribbon or whatever type of embellishments you wish at the top, around the edges, or any other place.  Make it your own!

Now, I used my Cricut machine and cut out some shapes to add extra bling to the top.

After that, I put it all together and hung it up to enjoy!  Goodbye ugly grocery list, you are uptown now!!

This is a cute one. Circut is pretty good one, $20 is a dream deal! Lucky you!

I loved my cricut and miss it sooo much! I have made these and gave them as teachers gifts. They are so versatile and useful!

That's pretty cool! I love that, great desk accessory and great for an end of the year teacher gift too! I'm teared up a bit when I saw/read that you have a cricut machine, I dream of having this super spectacular craft office, where I can craft and blog to my heart's content… One day, it will come true!

A friend of mine bought it and didn't use it, so she sold it to me for $20!!!! Otherwise, I would have never had one!! Love fiends! 🙂
