About Me:

Thank you for taking the time to visit my TigerStrypes Blog website. My name is Jamie Tomkins, and I’m in my late 40’s. I have a 22-year-old son (DJ), and an almost 2-year-old Granddaughter who are also available to help with posts, for people their age, on my blog. I have been married to my wonderful husband David for 22 years now, with hopes of many more great years to come.

We’ve lived in the White Mountains of Arizona for 18 years and absolutely love it. Mountain trails are right around every corner, and we’re able to meet up with locals or those that are exploring the area, to enjoy what our hills have to offer. We are both members of the Navajo County Search and Rescue team, and are called out for missing persons on the trails, and in all areas of our County & neighboring Counties. Using our offroad skills, tracking, first aid and more, we love being able to help the local Sheriff’s station, when the need arises.

My family is full of avid off-roaders. We’re a member of the White Mountains 4×4 Club, White Mountains Jeep & Friends Club, Cross Country Explorers and have led trail rides for UTV Offroad Adventures. I’m also a brand ambassador for Offroad Vixen Clothing Co. I’ve always agreed with their motto: “Girl’s Get Dirty, Too!” We enjoy hitting the trails, exploring different areas, going to events, geocaching and more. Like my favorite quote says…”Of all the roads you take in life, make sure some of their are dirt!“

I’m the owner, and author of TigerStrypes Blog, and put my focus on many different topics. A lot of people say that they have a certain genre for their blog, either “Family”, “Home & Garden”, etc., however, I cannot pinpoint exactly which topic I write about. TigerStrypes Blog consists of so many different ones!! I focus on all of the areas of my personal, and professional life that are important to me, as well as my family.
