How to Make Some Valentine Snack Friends
#ValentinesDay #Craft
Well, it’s been awhile since I posted a craft project, since I haven’t really had much time. With the holidays happening, my son’s birthday, and then mine last month, things have been crazy. I have a whole file of crafts that I want to do and wanted to get started this month.
This was an idea I saw on Pinterest, that someone was calling a robot, but I figured that they were better described as snack friends. You could make these with your kids for their classroom treat for school, if they still do that type of thing, or just for giving to friends to let them know that you’re thinking of them. They are so fun and easy to make, they make the perfect gift!
I hope you like it!! Have a blessed day, and please be sure to comment on, and share this craft on your social media channels – thanks!

Valentine Snack Friends
Materials/Tools Used:
- Juice Box
- Candy Pills or Smarties
- Small Boxes of NERDS
- Pudding Cups
- Chocolate Hearts
- Craft Paper
- Cricut Explore
- Glue Gun / Craft Tape
- Googly Eyes
- & Time!
Instructions:
I started by using my glue gun to attach two of the small boxes of NERDS candy to the bottom of the juice box. I obviously didn’t pay attention to getting the straw on the back of all of them, but oh well – it still looked okay.
As those were drying, I started on the head. Using a pudding cup, I added some adhesive tape to it to attach some eyes. I figured that the tape held less chance of making the product melt, as a glue gun would.
After that, I used my Cricut Explore to create some smiles for the pudding cup faces.
When those were finished, I used some more adhesive tape to attach them to the “face”, as well.
Using the glue gun again, I then attached the head to the juice box body. Making sure to only put glue where it would be able to attach, and not be near the straw entry, for safety reasons.
Next, I attached two (2) packages of Smarties to the sides of the drink box to represent the arms.
After that, I added the chocolate heart to the front.
That was all it took!! Now you can give them out to whoever you wish, and help bring a smile to their face. Let me know how you would use them, in the comments below.
I hope you like it! Please take a minute to leave me a comment, and let me know what you would do different, or what you would add, etc. Be sure to tweet, pin, share, etc. – thank you!!

Thanks Grace. My son is a bit too old to take these to school, so I ended up giving them to neighbors, etc. They all loved them! 🙂
