The Unbreakable Boy – Movie Review

There are so many times, those of us who follow the Lord, think that all things should be sweet and wholesome. Well, unfortunately, this world is not, and we live in it. To see how one can get through those trials and come out on the other side, I think was very beneficial. It shows hope, and I pray that it could help that one person who is dealing with the same issues in their own life.
All in all, this movie was great! The cast was adorable. Some of the parts of the movie brought us to tears, but there were still many smiles. Even at our older age, we learned things from the young ones in the movie. That meant a lot. Let’s all be that light to those that need it. A laugh or smile to those that are struggling and NEVER judge someone else, for things that you don’t understand. I would definitely recommend the movie for anyone to watch!

Here are some ideas woven throughout the message of THE UNBREAKABLE BOY:
REDEMPTION
Through Jesus’ sacrifice, we are offered forgiveness and the chance to be made whole. God’s love transforms our brokenness into something beautiful, giving us a fresh start and showing that no one is beyond the reach of His grace.
• “Come now, let us settle the matter,” says the Lord. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool. Isaiah 1:18 (NIV)
• Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NIV)
FORGIVENESS
Forgiveness brings freedom—both for those who extend it and those who receive it. It is a reflection of Christ’s love and an essential step toward healing and reconciliation in our relationships.
• If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9 (NIV)
• Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. Ephesians 4:32 (NIV)
PURPOSE
God has crafted each of us with care and purpose, shaping our lives with His love. When we embrace the purpose He has given us, we discover true joy and fulfillment in walking the path He has set before us.
• Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations. Jeremiah 1:5 (NIV)
• For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:10 (NIV)
