The Unbreakable Boy – Movie Review

Recently I received and email about the new movie called The Unbreakable Boy coming out at the end of February from Jean with Momentum Influencers. I hadn’t seen any ads about it on TV, or online, but you know how the media is about sharing great movies like this one. :p

Watching the trailer that Jean had shared, it looked like great story.  It’s always great to see how negative things in life, can be transformed for the better.  Seeing what this boy had to deal with, and his Mom, too – it was great to see how when most would pity him, we should learn from him and be strong during trials.  It was great to see how the parents dealt with MOST things.  There are some trials that happen, that are of this world, but seeing that it came out in a positive way was good.

There are so many times, those of us who follow the Lord, think that all things should be sweet and wholesome.  Well, unfortunately, this world is not, and we live in it.  To see how one can get through those trials and come out on the other side, I think was very beneficial.  It shows hope, and I pray that it could help that one person who is dealing with the same issues in their own life.

All in all, this movie was great!  The cast was adorable.  Some of the parts of the movie brought us to tears, but there were still many smiles.  Even at our older age, we learned things from the young ones in the movie.  That meant a lot.  Let’s all be that light to those that need it.  A laugh or smile to those that are struggling and NEVER judge someone else, for things that you don’t understand.  I would definitely recommend the movie for anyone to watch!

The Unbreakable Boy shows that even with struggles, you can fly! #UnbreakableBoyMIN #ad #UnbreakableBoy #MomentumInfluencerNetwork Check out my movie review at Share on X

When the odds are unbelievable, show the world you’re unbreakable.
#UnbreakableBoy is in theaters February 21.

About the Movie – The Unbreakable Boy:

THE UNBREAKABLE BOY is a heartfelt, inspiring film that will resonate with families and individuals alike. From Kingdom Story Company—the producers of I CAN ONLY IMAGINE, JESUS REVOLUTION, and THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER—comes this true story of a father’s path to redemption, a son’s unbreakable spirit, and the extraordinary bond that holds a family together.

This film delivers a message of hope and grace, with a powerful exploration of redemption, forgiveness, and purpose. THE UNBREAKABLE BOY challenges us to look beyond life’s difficulties and see the beauty of God’s grace in all circumstances.  As the faith community considers how to incorporate THE UNBREAKABLE BOY into their ministry and outreach, we want to provide a clear picture of the heart and Biblical truths intentionality highlighted in the story.

Here are some ideas woven throughout the message of THE UNBREAKABLE BOY:

REDEMPTION

Through Jesus’ sacrifice, we are offered forgiveness and the chance to be made whole. God’s love transforms our brokenness into something beautiful, giving us a fresh start and showing that no one is beyond the reach of His grace.
• “Come now, let us settle the matter,” says the Lord. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool. Isaiah 1:18 (NIV)
• Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NIV)

FORGIVENESS

Forgiveness brings freedom—both for those who extend it and those who receive it. It is a reflection of Christ’s love and an essential step toward healing and reconciliation in our relationships.
• If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9 (NIV)
• Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. Ephesians 4:32 (NIV)

PURPOSE

God has crafted each of us with care and purpose, shaping our lives with His love. When we embrace the purpose He has given us, we discover true joy and fulfillment in walking the path He has set before us.
• Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations. Jeremiah 1:5 (NIV)
• For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:10 (NIV)

I saw this movie and it was one I enjoyed. The boy reminded me of a boy in our church.

This sounds like an inspiring movie. I will have to be sure to watch and pretend Zachary Levi isn’t in it. He bugs me.
