I received one of the new DVD’s called “ When Calls the Heart – Heart and Home ” from Elliott with Edify Media, Inc. and was asked to watch the movie and post a review on my blog about it.  I had already seen the the other “When Calls The Heart” movies before this, and love them, you can find my reviews on the others here.

All of the “When Calls the Heart” shows are amazing.  I always look forward to them being on TV, or being able to share the DVD’s with friends when they come over.  This series is amazing, and it’s one that even my husband and son like to watch.  You learn from the story, feel the love and other emotions that are felt by the characters, and just enjoy the beautiful portrayal of times past.

I was able to enjoy an online chat awhile back with the wonderful star Erin Krakow.  What an amazing woman and actor.  It was so fun to hear her take on things and to realize that she is a young lady and not from back in the times when these scenes show.  I loved hearing about the shows she loves on TV today, and how she feels about where the story is going.  What a fun time!

This title of the series, has some real drama!  I found myself yelling “NO” at the TV a few times, and once again just hoping for things to work out for Jack and Elizabeth.  Seeing them deal with family drama, was also great – that never goes away in any era, does it?  It’s so fun to have your thoughts of how it should go, and twists on what you expected…I love it!  I definitely recommend this title, as well as the others, for your family to watch together.

Thanks Elliott at Edify Media, Inc. for letting us view this movie and give our opinions on it.

I remember when this first came out. I tried to watch it, but lost interest. I may need to give it another try and see how it turns out the second time I watch this series. Thanks for sharing!

This looks like a movie I’d enjoy watching and I’d probably be talking to the screen, too while watching it. No, I’ve never had to make an actual choice over a relationship, thank goodness!
