If you’re anything like me, you’ve sat and wondered about the earth and everything in it. How did it get here? Why are sunflowers yellow? There are so many different questions. I remember in school hearing about the big bang theory and the monkey-like person/thing that they gave a name. Sometimes I just sat and shook my head in history and science class. How the heck would you be able to know that something was 2 billion years old? Where does that come from? It just did not make sense to me.
We had a gentleman by the name of Russ Miller visit our church one day. His mission is to confirm Biblical Truth and expose misinterpretations of God’s creation in order to exalt Jesus Christ as our Creator, Judge and redeeming Savior. Taking a tour of the Grand Canyon with him, opened my eyes so much as to why the teachings in some of our schools for many years was so untrue! Why are there seashells at the top of the Grand Canyon? Why are there pieces of the earth that match on different edges of continents? God’s story makes so much more sense. Find out more about Russ’ teachings HERE.
Hearing about “The Story of Everything,” I figured that this would be some insight on space and the earth’s creation. It sure was. Now, I’m going to apologize up front, but the beginning of this movie was boring. They were talking about the worldly beliefs and millions of years. Every time I hear that, I shake my head and roll my eyes. So untrue!
Well, watching the full thing, I see that it was build-up for the ending. Letting you see the one side, until they tell us theirs. It makes sense after you watch it. I just personally wish that they could have made it a bit more exciting. I really don’t want to see the guy sitting in a chair talking. Show me something!! …but that’s just me. Maybe you learn differently. Keep reading to find out more about it.

About The Story of Everything:
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (June 8, 2026) — Following a successful nationwide theatrical run that sparked conversation across faith, science, and culture, The Story of Everything is now available to purchase on Amazon Prime Video.
Inspired by Stephen C. Meyer’s bestselling book Return of the God Hypothesis, the cinematic documentary invites audiences to explore one of humanity’s oldest—and most consequential—questions: Does the evidence point to a universe shaped solely by blind chance, or is there evidence of purpose and design?
After debuting in the Top 10 at the box office during its theatrical engagement and earning an extended run through Fathom Entertainment, The Story of Everything connected with audiences nationwide through its sweeping visuals, compelling scientific discoveries, and thought-provoking exploration of the origins debate.
“The response to this film has been incredibly encouraging,” said Stephen C. Meyer, author of Return of the God Hypothesis and featured expert in the film. “People from all backgrounds are asking bigger questions about where we came from and why we’re here. Our hope is that The Story of Everything inspires curiosity, thoughtful conversation, and a deeper appreciation for the remarkable universe we inhabit.”
Produced by Brian Bird (When Calls the Heart), Jason Pamer (After Death), executive produced by Lee Strobel (The Case for Christ), and directed by Eric Esau (The Heart of Man), the documentary explores groundbreaking discoveries in cosmology, physics, and molecular biology that have reignited debate surrounding the origins of life and the universe.
Featuring interviews with Meyer, Jay Richards, John Lennox, Douglas Axe, Timothy McGrew, and other leading voices in science and philosophy, the film presents evidence that challenges long-held assumptions about whether material processes alone can fully explain reality.
Praised for its cinematic scope and accessible storytelling, The Story of Everything has resonated with audiences seeking a fresh perspective on questions often confined to academic circles. During its theatrical release, the film generated national media attention and contributed to a growing public conversation surrounding science, faith, and the search for meaning.

I had a lot of the same thoughts as you. I think it is amazing the scientists keep coming up with theories and then get proved wrong. Very detailed documentary. Thanks for the additional resource, I am definitely going to check him and his ministry out
