I received the new “Pirate’s Code – The Adventures of Mickey Matson” DVD from FlyByPromotions. I had never heard of this series, but thought that it would be perfect to watch as a family.
The movie had my son and I cracking up almost the whole time, and that doesn’t happen very often. My husband laughed a little bit, but because of work, fell asleep on the couch through most of it. I had figured it would be about some guys in the ocean on a ship, but it was a really cool story. Had some great effects, and even things that you could talk about, as a family. Definitely one that I would recommend for parents to use for a family movie night. Our son is 14, and I was worried that he might be a bit too old for it, but he wasn’t. The story made you think, made you call out what you thought would happen next and so on. It also had a lot of great stories within the movie itself, on friendship, trust and working together as a team!
It is one that I would definitely watch again and use for when my son has friends over and wants to watch a movie!! Here’s more on the story behind it, I hope you can enjoy it, as much as we did!

A sequel to The Adventures of Mickey Matson and the Copperhead Treasure, this thrilling ocean’s adventure is fun for the whole family!

This is a movie my kids would watch! I like that it’s adventurous. I’m part of a team that works on a parenting website together in our city and we do volunteer work, too. I like that I can be a part of a team getting together with others when I usually work alone. This would make a great family movie night!
This would definitely be a great one!! You could even make it a theme day and have games after, or activities that go with it!
My son just told me about the movie, I never saw the preview before. It sounds like a great movie!

Worked on lots of teams in college — fun memories!
While I’m able to work well independantly, I enjoy being part of a team as well when volunteering at a school/community event. I think my tween daughter would like this movie. Thanks for hosting a giveaway!
