TBC CRAFTER’S HOP (#TBCCRAFTERS) – 03/28/2013
Since this weekend is our “Resurrection Celebration”, which some call Easter, I wanted to focus on a craft that gave glory to Him. This is one I saw from a Sunday School Teacher on www.teacherhelp.org, that I thought would be a great “gift” to give to our son on Easter Sunday. To many times in today’s world, emphasis is put on candy and a bunny – well “..as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord”, so I wanted to put accentuation on what is most important! Enjoy!!
Resurrection Celebration Craft
Materials Needed:
- (1) Printout of the Cross (Click Here)
- Scissors
- Tape
- Ruler
- Bow
- & Time!!
To begin this project, print out the cross using the image that is attached above. It will be an 8.5×11″ piece of paper (or bigger, if you want a larger box).
After the image is printed, remove and begin to cut it out.
Using a ruler, since I’m not very good at folding even lines (or if you’re good at folding, you can omit that), fold at each line.
Using very small pieces of tape, or even mini glue dots, fold the pieces together and secure them lightly.
Top it off with a bow, and decorate it more if you wish with stickers, etc.
Give it to your child at dinner time or devotion time and go over the story of Easter and how the Lord is the greatest gift we can ever receive!
Do you want to know more about Jesus? or would you like to accept him into your heart, so that you can be saved? If so, go to http://harvest.org/knowgod/ to find out more. God bless you and your family on this blessed time of year!

Love that you are really focusing on the core of the holiday! Jesus is the gift! Happy Easter to you and your family!
How nice is this. Great idea.
What a great craft & so nice to see something that doesn’t focus on candy and plastic!
Thanks Ellen – I saw this the other day, too, which hit the nail on the head. Love it!! http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b209/satrntgr/8594414639_bb3d08d2d8_z_zps1d2da85e.jpg
