TigerStrypes Review of the Ozeri Ultra 42″ Wind Fan

I recently heard from the Ozeri company via an email with them asking me if I wanted to review any of their products. They gave me a list of things to choose from, and I decided on the Ozeri Ultra 42″ Wind Fan. I figured it would be something that we could use for the warmer months to help keep our home cool. I had even heard of how it can be used during the cold months, if you are burning in your fireplace, to help the warm air be circulated to parts of the home that usually end up being much colder, due to the warm air being sucked out.

We put our Ozeri Ultra 42″ Wind Fan in the hallway, facing our room and set it. It did seem to pull the warmer air through the hallway, which is great. I think it will do a bit better in the summer, by being able to keep things cool though. There are so many different settings on the fan, that let it be on a timer, have different airflow patters – which was amazing, and also has 3 whisper-quiet speed settings.

We did find that there was an odd noise when it would get to a side, and the whisper just wasn’t happening. My husband ended up holding it when it got to that edge and kind of snapping it back one to fix the setting. After that, no more noise. It was amazing!!

Something we did find that when we took it out of the package, it had been damaged in transit and the the little lever that held the top cover (over the controls) would no longer hold. It just popped up again, since it couldn’t attach to the holder. I called the company and was very impressed with their amazing customer service. Really quick to answer the phone, and very friendly. I explained to them what was happening, and they said that they would get a new lid out in the mail immediately. It came super fast, and we were able to replace the broken one and now it works perfectly. It was great to work with a company that cared about their products, and more so…their customers!! I would definitely recommend the company, and this fan! I am already shopping in their kitchen section to find more products to try out. 🙂
