I received an email from Jean with Momentum and went straight to the trailer of the movie. It was a bit of a different side of the Angel channel, from what I’ve seen, but I thought it looked interesting.
Watching the movie, it made me pray for our world, as it is now. There is so much of the stuff with drugs and sin in our world, and a lot of times, we don’t even know about it. This made me scared for our youth. I know when I was young (a long time ago), we dealt with things like this, but it seemed like it was more innocent and not as scary. I know in our Search and Rescue training, we are taught about these types of drugs, and have heard stories about the local police and sheriff who have had to have medical treatment, due to touching something like this in a criminal’s car. It is just so scary!
I remember the days of high school. Trying to fit in, trying to look good. I’ll tell you, that I wish the way of life we have in our 50’s was something we had back them. Not caring about being part of some type of group, not wanting to impress someone with the rules that you break. It’s such a different type of life, and I am loving it.
I’m definitely praying for our youth though. I hope they know that there are people who have dealt with things like this, ones you can talk with who will not judge. Make sure if it’s you, to look into some type of help. Don’t ruin your life, because of what one person said about you, or told you you should be or do. God loves you just as you are, and will work in you to make you better.
