"Domino Game Tray" – #TBCCrafter’s Hop – 04/11/2013 9

TBC CRAFTER’S HOP (#TBCCRAFTERS) – 04/11/2013

Saw this idea in “Rachael Ray’s” magazine and thought it would be so cute to make for family game night.  They used dice on theirs, but I figured dominoes would work just as well. This will even be something that I bring out for times we have others over to play games, watch movies, etc.  Very easy to do and it would be completely up to you on how you finish your design.  Hope you like it – enjoy!!

“Domino Game Tray” Craft
Materials Needed:
  • Serving Tray (material of your choice)
  • Dominoes or Dice
  • Glue
  • & Time!!

  Instructions:

To begin this project, open up your package of dominoes or dice, and spread out on the tray that you are using.  Start to arrange them in any way you wish.  You can always find old dominoes at thrift stores and yard sales, but after a few days of searching where I live, I gave up and just bought some at the store.

Finish the edges however you think looks good enough.  I had a little extra space on my tray and couldn’t fit them in flat, so decided to make an edge type pattern.

Finish up securing it all, and let dry.  Now you’re set to enjoy your game night with some stylish accessories for your snacks!!  Enjoy!!

Cute idea! We always have left over dominoes and this is a good way to repurpose them.
