Being a member of  “Blogger’s Required” has many benefits.  I get to try out products and give my opinion, as well as see new things that are coming out from certain companies, etc.  It’s a great “family” to belong to as a blogger.

I recently received an email about the new “Liquid Chalkers” from the Paper & Twine company.  At first, I didn’t really know what I would use them for.  The company had initially told me that they wanted to caution their customers on about these chalkers not working well on porous surfaces.  They said that If you have chalkboard paint that is painted on a wall and the wall behind the paint is porous (like drywall) you may have trouble removing the chalkers. Also if the backing on the chalkboard you use is porous, you may have issues with it erasing as well. They suggested that you first test the chalkers on an inconspicuous spot and leave it overnight before using them on a large area.  I thought that was a great warning.  Better to hear about everything up front, then deal with the issues afterward.  I told the company, that I planned on using these on my car windows and home windows, so the issue above shouldn’t matter.

I decided to try it first at home to leave my husband a note on the bathroom mirror.  Today is our anniversary, so I figured it was the perfect time to test them out!!

I also love to decorate for the holidays and figured these would be great to make some “snowflakes” on the windows.  Now I know that winter is a bit off still, but I always love to try things out before the time you actually plan on using them.  That way you are set and know how it’s going to work, etc. prior to planning your holiday decor, and so on.  All I did was cut out a template for the snowflake using my Cricut machine and used my Liquid Chalkers to fill it in:

It was really easy to do, and they worked great.  Here’s how it turned out:

So easy to use and the “chalk” stayed on the window and mirror really well, until I was ready to remove it.  I was able to just use a paper towel and it all came off easily and clean.

This is definitely something I will be using for decorating my home, my car and any other place I can figure on where to use it!! I love these Liquid Chalkers!!

Oh these would be great for congratulating my kid on the car windows, or like you did on your house windows or the glass screen door.

I was just looking for something like this the other day! I have a piece of wood hung with twine & coated in chalkboard paint that hangs in the kitchen as a menu board. But it is such a pain to write on with regular chalk. These are just what I was looking for!

These are so cool! I think we’ll be picking them up! I would love them for Christmas but also fun to write Happy Birthday greetings. Best part is how easily it is removed!!

I have plans, not set but hopeful, to turn part of a kitchen wall into a chalkboard (Both for writing down notes and giving my youngest a good spot to draw on and hopefully discourage drawing on other walls). This would definitely be useful for that.

I wish my husband had these instead of the shoe polish that he used on my car. He decorated my car once for our aniversary and the shoe polish never all came off.
