Decorate with a Witch’s Hat Wall Hanging
I saw this type of craft on Pinterest, and thought it would be something fun to do for my home. I found almost all of the needed materials at the dollar store, so it’s very inexpensive to make. You could change it up however you wanted and use it for your home, work, classroom or wherever you want to have some classy Halloween decor.
I hope you like it!! Have a blessed day, and please be sure to comment on and share this fun outdoor craft!!

Decorate with a Witch’s Hat Wall Hanging
Materials/Tools Used for Each:
- (1) Witch’s Hat
- Artificial Flowers
- Tissue Paper
- Pins/Nails
- Ribbon
- Decor
- & Time!
Witch Hat Instructions:
I started by folding the witch hat in half to make it straight at the back and easier to hang.
Then I stuffed some tissue paper in the “cone” of the hat to make it a bit more sturdy and easier to hold the flowers inside.
Now, using the artificial flowers and other things, I filled up the hat, being careful to keep them in there tightly. Just a not, I once lifted up the hat and it tipped over and everything fell out. Just wanted to help you from experience. 🙁
Next, I attached it to the wall, using thumbtacks. You could also use strong glue dots, or things like that, if you don’t want a hole in the wall (or wherever).
Now, you can make the normal “Witch’s” hat into something a bit different for the holiday season.
Hope you like it! Please take a minute to leave me a comment. Let me know what you would do different, or what you would add, etc. Be sure to tweet, pin, share, etc. – thanks!!

I love it–I absolutely LOVE it. Of course I’d have to find a spot on my wall that my cat could not reach!!
For sure, otherwise they would LOVE IT, too! 🙂
It’s so simple but so perfect. I really let the ball drop on decor this year, but I bet I can pull this off in time.
Thanks Denise – I love things that are simple!
Your Witches Hat turned out beautiful! Now that my children are all grown up it would be nice to have some pretty decorations. You’ve shown homemade can be cheaper also. Thanks for sharing.
I love doing something nice, that is still inexpensive. I have other things to spend my $$ on. 🙂
