Seeing the email come in from Tryazon, I was super excited to learn about even more new games that aren’t so mainstream. They both looked really fun, and easy to play… or so I thought. We tried out the Strike! Dice Game and loved it. Super simple to play, but really fun and didn’t take too long. You could play multiple games and let everyone keep track of their wins. It was great. I loved trying to roll the dice a different way to try and get those matches. I know it never really did anything, but it was fun to try! 🙂
As for the That’s Not a Hat game, forgive me, but we just could not get on board with that one. If you’ve read my blog for any length of time, you’ve probably read my post about my past surgery and medical struggles. With that, my memory isn’t always the best, so this was one that I just couldn’t grasp. I can’t remember where I put my car keys half of the time, so I’m not going to remember if someone is telling me the truth about the card they are giving me. It reminded us a bit of the Memory game, but a bit different. I’m sure younger kids and others without my medical issues would probably really enjoy it. Myself, I did not.
All in all, we were just thankful to be able to try out some new games with family and friends. Just spending time together, is an added bonus, and something that we are always try to do more of. For that, I loved these. I will definitely be playing the Strike game again, that one was fun and could be enjoyed by many ages, etc. Let me know what you think about the games in the comments below. Strike
Throw your dice into an arena, striking other dice to change their faces, and collect matching sets. Watch out, though – if you roll an X, your die is removed from the game! Play it safe by rolling one die, or push your luck and keep rolling for a chance to make matches. The last player with dice wins!
