Learn How to Make a “Simple Towel Basket” for your Bathroom
If you’ve ever had guests over and got that familiar “Where are the towels?” scream from your bathroom, this is the craft for you! I always love to have extra towels and washcloths out for my guests, but just having them sitting on the counter can get cluttered and you worry about which ones are clean, etc. With this, you can have as many as you need, and just refill as they are cleaned. Size and shape of the basket, etc. is completely up to you.
I hope you like it!! Have a blessed day, and please be sure to comment on and share this #TBCCrafters craft!!

“Simple Towel Basket” Craft
Materials/Tools Used:
- Basket with single large handle
- Screws
- Screwdriver
- Towels
- & Time!
Instructions:
Start by finding an area on the wall where you wish to put this up. Using (2) screws and a screwdriver (and a level, if need be), start attaching the basket to the wall, by inserting the screws through the bottom of the basket.
When you have it securely attached, you can then begin rolling your towels. For a hand towel, just fold in thirds and then tightly roll it up, trying to be as even as you can. For a washcloth, just fold it in half lengthwise, and do the same.
Next, just insert your towels, washcloths, etc. however you wish inside the basket.
When you have them all inside the basket as you wish, you can then fold a hand towel in thirds lengthwise and then in half, and hang it from the basket handle.
Now you’re set to have your towels and extras all together in the area you choose. I picked my guest bathroom, that way if someone needed to use a separate towel or washcloth, it was right there for them to retrieve easily!
Hope you like it! Please take a minute to leave me a comment and let me know what you would do different, or what you would add, etc. Be sure to tweet, pin, share, etc. – thanks!!

I absolutely LOVE this idea!!!
I’m going to make one for my kitchen towels though…using a basket on the counter or keeping them in a drawer just isn’t working for our new place and THIS idea will be perfect! Thanks Jamie!
Great idea Julie!!

Did you ever find one and get to make it?
This is an awesome idea! I hold on to some small baskets and don’t have any idea how to use it. Now, I can make something nice and useful but don’t need to spend extra money. Pinned and shared!
