I received “The Plans I Have For You” Devotional and Journal and wondered if they would be a bit too young for our son. Well, it turns out that I might actually use them myself! The information inside is a great way to spend time learning God’s Word…for any age. Plus, the Journal helps you to put your thoughts and prayers down on paper that can be so helpful for the future.
The illustrations in both of the books is amazing. Goes with all of the devotions perfectly and gives you a different spin on what you’re reading. I love having the chance to delve deeper into God’s Word. I remember years ago, when I was just learning about God, I actually had the “Precious Moments” bible that was actually made for kids. It was written in such a way that for me, as a newbie, made it easier to understand, easier to follow and more helpful to learn from. Now that I’ve been studying the Word, I have a bible in about 4 different versions. Each one, giving me a different perspective and allowing me to learn even more. This devotional and journal will do that exact thing. Let me learn on a bit different level, but see how God can use the time to grow my faith, my knowledge and my love for Him.
I would definitely recommend this book to any family that would like to do devotional time together, or has a child that would love their own set to do. This would be great to have each one in your family take part in it, and then discuss their journal entries at dinner, etc. Any way to converse with family and learn more about God’s plan is a great time!

About the Author:

I love the positive messages of these books. It lets kids know that it isn’t just about them and that God needs them to be a good influence in the world.
