I was asked to review episode #5, but wanted to start watching from the beginning and was so happy that I did. The whole show has a great story. Working together, being a team and dealing with the struggles of regular life. I loved the humor, and even learning a few things from the Live+Local. I don’t want to tell you everything, since it’s best for you to watch it and form your own opinion. Have you heard about the show? Is it something that sounds like one your family might enjoy? Keep reading to find out more.

I was chosen to review Episode #5 which really made me feel interested to know what was going to happen. So many times we get used to the life that we live, and things might end up changing. You get to see the drama of Tina getting a courtesy car from Integrity Motors, which is one of her sponsors that is dueling with Tommy’s sponsor Legacy Auto. That’s not going to go over well, now is it? You’ll also see that the owner of KHUGG, Mr. Wilmont, decides to retire and Jerry’s search for a new owner begins. Plus, Tommy’s contract is expiring as ownership changes are inevitable. So many twists in the story!
While this is happening, Lucy discovers that Jerry Graves is actually Johnny Griffiths. He purchased another radio station and turned it into a sports station and is known as the “station killer.” More drama, to make you wonder what’s going to happen. Tina then confronts Jerry over his alias and the sponsors. He admits that he was hired to tighten things up at the station. Sometimes verification isn’t always what we wanted.
There are even more great things that happen, that keep you guessing, and make you even more interested in the show. The show also stars Chef and Master Chef winner Whitney Miller and Comic/Podcaster Dustin Nickerson, who both do a wonderful job!
I love that the three main characters work so well together. They really help lift each other up, and that’s what we need in today’s world.
The main themes of this episode are the importance of prayer when making big decisions and starting new projects. You learn some ideas from Whitney Miller who shows the importance of bringing joy to others through what you do. It also shows the purpose of worship during church service and how it connects people to God and to each other. God’s path is sometimes full of surprises and challenges and fear can stop us from pursuing greatness. Being insecure internally but being having an overconfident bravado to disguise it.
Verses to focus on for these things are:
I establish my covenant with you: Never again will all life be destroyed by the waters of a flood; never again will there be a flood to destroy the earth. – Genesis 9:11 (NIV)
Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality. – Romans 12:13 (NIV)
