TBC CRAFTER’S HOP (#TBCCRAFTERS) – 02/07/2013
Not sure if this counts as a craft or not, but I’m always looking for cute ways to grow things indoors. Living up in the mountains at about 6800′, you have to be creative in how you garden. Our season lasts for about 3 months, so getting started early, means a lot. Plus this is a cute addition to any room and is more than gardening, it’s crafty!!…I hope :/ Enjoy!!
Indoor Planting Reuse Craft
Materials Needed:
- Vases, Glasses, etc. that you have sitting around
- Bulbs of plant or flower you wish to grow early
- Potting Soil
- Moss
- Place to Display
- & Time!!
Insert bulbs (I’m using tulips) into containers.
Fill the rest of the way with the potting soil, leaving room for moss (if using).
Add your moss or other topper you wish to cover the dirt with.
Display in your home, and enjoy!!
(For Mardi Gras) Just plain and on bases
I used a photo of a tulip to show how these will look once they start to grow. Can you please tell them to grow quickly!! ha/ha

Loving bringing the outdoors in and creating a beautiful display for the table with spring bulbs and repurposed items! Nice!
Great idea! I love flowers but always manage to kill them. Here is something that even *I* can do!
That is cool!
