Christmas Ornament Wreath (#TBCCrafters) 8

Christmas Ornament Wreath

TBC Crafter’s Hop (#TBCCrafters)divider

I wanted a cheap and easy way to decorate and not worry about the piece if it broke or got weathered, etc.  I had seen something like this on a site awhile back and decided to give it a try!!  You can use any color, and lineup, whatever floats your boat.  I got all of this at the Dollar store and it’s a cheap and easy way to make your home festive!!

 What you need:

  • Cheap Ornaments
  • Wire Hanger
  • & Time!!

(I ended up not using the snowflakes and added the holly vine instead)

Directions:

1.  Clip your hanger top off with a wire cutter (be careful as the ends might be sharp).  Then form it into a circular shape the best you can.

2.  Start stringing the ornaments on in any pattern you wish (make sure it’s just going through the top of the ornament and not an extra hanger, string, etc.).  Do this until you have most of it covered and the ornaments organized how you wish them to look.

3.  Finish the circle by either wiring or taping (like I did, shown) the ends together to make a full circle.  After this, arrange your ornaments a bit more to compensate for the space.

4.  When finished, add whatever you wish to hang it with.  I used a short piece of garland that I hooked together with a wire tie and used as the topper.  You could use any material or piece that you wanted and even use a large bow to cover where you taped to have as a bottom piece and hang it that way instead – up to you.  All done – hang and enjoy!!
