We Have Such a Good, Good Father

I just heard from FlyByPromotions that Chris Tomlin was releasing his new song “Good, Good, Father”. Once again, Chris hit it out of the park. There is nothing better to sit and listen to an artist, either online or on the radio, where you feel that you are in a worship service at your church and being able to lift up the voice of believers to the Lord.

This song is amazing and is so true!! We have such a great Father in our lives and I’m blessed that He calls me His daughter. When I lost my biological Dad when I was 17, before I knew the Lord, I didn’t really understand how that hole could be filled. Once I had accepted the Lord and asked Him into my heart, that hole was gone. I definitely still miss my Dad, but knowing that I will see him again in heaven helps me to stay strong and wait patiently.

Chris’ song “Good, Good Father” lets us remember who is our true Father and know how much He loves us and how just by singing, or talking to him…it’s music to His ears!

Chris Tomlin was born May 4, 1972 and is an American contemporary Christian music (CCM) artist, worship leader, and songwriter from Grand Saline, Texas, United States who has sold nearly 30 million records. He is a former staff member at Austin Stone Community Church and is signed to EMI’s sixstepsrecords. Tomlin leads worship at many Passion events. Some of his most well-known songs are “How Great Is Our God”, “Jesus Messiah”, “Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone)”, “Our God”, which he co-wrote with Matt Redman, Jesse Reeves, and Jonas Myrin, and “Whom Shall I Fear (God of Angel Armies)”. He is currently a worship leader at Passion City Church in Atlanta, Georgia, with Louie Giglio, Kristian Stanfill, Christy Nockels, and Brett Younker.
