Turn Toys Into a Cable Holder
(#CreateDesignDiscover)
I saw something like this online the other day and thought it would be fun to make. Â They had theirs as just one figure, and it was very simple, so I thought that I would change it up. Â Making it larger to hold more cables, as well as adding a little center portion to hold a key.
Who hasn’t had to search around behind a cabinet, or your desk for the dumb cable to charge your phone, or hook up your camera to the computer?  I always get tired of having to do that.  I figured that this would be fun to make to help our around the home.  It’s a great thing to have by the computer, or the charging station in your home. What would you use them for in your home?  Let me know in the comments below.
I hope you like it!! Have a blessed day, and please be sure to comment on, and share this craft on your social media channels – thanks!!
Turn Toys Into a Cable Holder
Materials/Tools Used:
- Building Blocks & People
- Picture Hanging Strips
- Printed Cards/Photos, Misc.
- & Time!
Instructions:
Start by finding a small piece of flat building block.
Then, attach a picture hanging strip, or other wall hanging piece to the back of the building block.
Turn it over, and attach one of the building block people to one side.
Now, attach another person to the other side.
Next, to add a bit more than just a cable holder, put a small key ring inside one of the building block pieces that you have. Â This way, you can use it as a key holder on the wall, as well.
Now, you can just attach the key part to the center.
After that, hang it up on the wall and insert your USB, or charging cables into the building block hands to hold them while they aren’t in use. Â This way, you no longer have to fish around behind the desk to find them, when you’re ready to charge your phone, etc.
I hope you like it! Â Please take a minute to leave me a comment, and let me know what you would do different, or what you would add, etc. Â Be sure to tweet, pin, share, etc. – thank you!!
