About Abel’s Field

Left motherless by tragedy and abandoned by his father, high school senior Seth McArdle (Samuel Davis) faces enormous pressure as he strives to support his little sisters. At school, he endures the daily bullying of the football team. But fighting back only finds him singled out for punishment and assigned to an after-school work detail under the supervision of the reserved groundskeeper, Abel (SOUL SURFER’S Kevin Sorbo). Much to his surprise, Seth discovers that Abel may be the only one who truly understands his struggles. As dark times lure Seth toward desperate measures, the reluctant Abel may be the one person who can point him back toward the light.

This movie really hit home with me.  I was 17 when my Dad died, but I thank the Lord I had my Mom to raise my brother and I.  I couldn’t imagine having to raise even just one sibling at that age.  There were parts in this movie that made you cry, laugh and yell.  Great things happening with many life lessons to ponder and teach others about.  I just wonder if there will ever be a Part 2 to see if “Abel” got to be forgiven by his family and if Seth & that girl ended up being together!! Great story, and finally one that as a parent, you don’t have to worry about watching with your kids.  It’s such a shame in today’s world, how those types are few and far between!! I pray that www.flypropeller.com can get more of these out there and let this world come back to caring about the family!!

Thanks for the giveaway! I love to listen to worship music in the car. My kids and I sing along, it’s a form of prayer for us.

I listen to worship music before going to work every morning. It inspires me to start my day on the right foot.
