St. Patrick’s Day Blessing
I haven’t had a lot of time for crafting this past week, but found this cute little “Duck” brand frame at Michael’s when we were traveling. I know it was meant to be decorated with duct tape, like most of the youth are doing today, but I figured it would be fun to make something out of it and just keep it simple!
I hope you like it!! Have a blessed day, and please be sure to comment on, and share this #TBCCrafters craft on your social media channels – thanks!!
Materials/Tools Used:
- Simple Frame
- Themed Stickers, Etc.
- Craft Puffs/Pom-Poms
- String
- Craft Needle
- Tape
- Glue, Glue Dots, Etc.
- & Time!
Instructions:
I started by removing the paper from the frame.
I found a cute little poem online and just printed that on craft paper in a dark brown color. I then trimmed the piece to fit in the frame, having the text centered.
Next, I used a needle to thread the pom-pom pieces. I found these craft ones at JoAnn’s and loved how easy they were to make into a “necklace” style piece.
Now, I used some glue dots and the “shamrock” stickers that I found and added a little detail to the corner of the frame.
I used some tape to secure the pom-pom string to the back of the frame, and then trimmed the extra string.
Now you can display it wherever you want, and see the smiles from those that read it!!
Hope you like it! Please take a minute to leave me a comment and let me know what you would do different, or what you would add, etc. Be sure to tweet, pin, share, etc. – thanks!!
