Make a 4th of July Wreath

(#TBCCrafters)

We had to go away for the weekend to take our son to see his grandparents for a few weeks, so I needed something that I could make quickly.  I didn’t have any ideas of exactly what I wanted to make, but I had seen something like this on Pinterest, and figured it would be pretty easy to make and perfect for celebrating the 4th of July.  You can use any circular piece…I just happen to have a LOT of cross stitch hoops that I don’t use and figured this would be a great way to put them to work!

I hope you like it!! Have a blessed day, and please be sure to comment on, and share this #TBCCrafters craft on your social media channels – thanks!!

Make a 4th of July Wreath

julyMaterials/Tools Used:

  • Craft Hoop
  • Clothespins
  • Spray Paint/Craft Paint
  • Star Stickers/Cutouts
  • & Time!

Instructions:

I started by painting the clothespins.  I didn’t have any specific count of the numbers of each color, and figured it wouldn’t be that hard to add more, if needed.  Just go with the size of the hoop (or whatever) you’ll be using.

july

Once the clothespins were all dry, I added some stars to the blue ones, in alternating spaces.

july

Next, I evenly pinned them to the craft hoop that I was using, being sure to have the pins all in the same place, and as even as possible.

july

After that, using some ribbon, I made a bow hanger to hang the piece up.

july

Now, you can hang it wherever you wish to add a little “pop” for the 4th of July!  Praying you have a blessed Independence Day!

july

I hope you like it!  Please take a minute to leave me a comment, and let me know what you would do different, or what you would add, etc.  Be sure to tweet, pin, share, etc. – thank you!!

This is so cool! I like the way you put stars on it too. I might just have to buy some clothes pins
