Is It Time for a Spring Mattress Refresh?#WayfairAtHome #WayfairMattressRefreshIt’s hard to believe that it’s already Spring! Where has the time gone? This year was a memorable one for weather here in the White Mountains of Arizona. We had struggled with moisture for the past few years, and finally were able to get a great snow season and snow pack in the mountains. We’re really hoping that it will help with the upcoming fire season not being as scary, as the past few years.

With that snow, wind and other crazy weather, I’m beginning to realize what that good old “Spring-Cleaning” term actually means. I’m planning on washing the windows and screens outdoors, since they got hammered this season with dirt, snow and everything else. Going through the cupboards is always a good one, too. Cleaning out things that aren’t used and donating things to others who can use them is a great way to clean up!

Now, what about the bedroom? We don’t really often think of any type of major changes there, other than the normal cleaning, right? Well, what about your mattress? Did you know that you should actually change out your mattress every 7-10 years? Even during that time, you should be rotating it, cleaning it and checking for any problems before that date. 1. Your mattress could house dust mites, which might trigger allergies.
2. If your mattress isn’t supportive enough, it could contribute to back pain.
3. A sagging or lumpy mattress could be a factor in neck pain.

5. Your mattress could contribute to night sweats, which can interrupt your sleep.
6. Finally, any of the above mattress issues can lead to trouble sleeping.
