Recently, I received the “Catching Faith 2” movie from Edify Media.  We had previously watched the original Catching Faith movie and loved it.  There hasn’t been a movie yet that we’ve received from Edify Media, that we didn’t enjoy.  They all have great stories, are family friendly and great for friends or anyone that you want to enjoy a movie night with.  They make you think, make you feel and are ones that you remember for a long time.

“Catching Faith 2” is one that I liked a lot.  We’re not a football family, and don’t really like sports in general, but the way that the movie used parts of that didn’t affect our interest.  There were some great actors, wonderful stories and it kept you thinking.  Now the family did have a LOT of stuff going on all at once, which sometimes was a bit confusing, but hey…that’s every family, right?  We need to ask the Lord to show us what to focus on, how to help those that need it and how to just enjoy our time together when we have it.  Let me know in the comments below, who you think you would like to watch this movie with.

Catching Faith 2

catchingEverything seems to be going wrong for the Taylor family right now. Just as Alexa is starting work at her dream job, she’s overwhelmed by caring for her mother suffering from Alzheimer’s disease. Her son, Beau, has just lost his professional football career to an injury and her daughter, Ravyn, needs help planning her last-minute wedding. Only with the support of friends and the guiding grace of their faith can the Taylors find the strength to cope with the tidal wave of drama and tragedy that is rolling over their lives.

It is easy to get over whelmed so this sounds like a good show to refocus.
