I received The Blessings of Unity – God’s Best for our Marriages book by Richard T. Case from FlyByPromotions to read and post about my opinion on. I’m one who said from an early age that when I was married, that was it. I was tired of hearing of the people that were married for a week and then had irreconcilable differences – yeah, whatever! We’re human, we’re going to have differences, we’re going to have issues with other people. But when I took that oath of marriage with my husband, David – I knew it would be forever. God did some amazing things in our life, even before we truly knew Him. Looking back, I can see every little piece that the Lord worked to make happen and by that, I am honored to have my husband and will cherish him, and our relationship forever.

My Grama taught me that if you have a problem in marriage (or a relationship) and break-up because of it, you’ll most likely have the same problem in all of the others. If you fix that problem, or learn how to just move on together, you will build a more durable foundation with each other and be able to build on it to have an even stronger relationship. That has lived with me for a long time! It’s always better to fix the problem, than just run away. In today’s world of divorce attorney’s having commercials on TV and what seems like a B1G1 attitude – I don’t agree.

Being able to have a great husband, who my family loves and I love makes being able to live in this crazy world so much more peaceful. I look at some friends who are my age and are just dating and every time, I thank God for the man that I have! This Blessings of Unity book teaches you great things to use in your relationship. It is all based on scripture which makes it even better and easier to see that it’s not just some counselor telling you what to do, it’s the Lord and that’s very important!

About the Author/Ministry:

Before his current role in developing retreats and serving this ministry, All for Jesus, Richard Case worked for many years with Fortune 500 companies in management and consulting roles. He holds a BS in Management and Finance from Bradley University, an MBA from the University of Southern California, and a seminary Masters degree from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Richard has been a featured speaker at conferences and seminars; he has hosted a radio show and is a published author.

Richard and his wife, Linda, answered the call from the Lord to Abide in Him through the Spirit. Together, Richard and Linda have started up several churches that remain strong today, and have served as interim pastors of troubled churches, bringing reconciliation and new vision to these situations.
