I received “The Legend of the Easter Robin” by FlyBy Promotions and thought that it would be adorable. My son is older now, but I still love to read books with beautiful artwork like this, and then share them with friends who can read them to their kids.

The story in this book was amazing. I had never heard of the Pennsylvania Dutch tale of the robin and the significance to the bible story of Jesus’s Crucifixion. It was amazing to hear something like this and it really touched my heart. I always love to hear people tell stories and have them mean something more than just what you are reading…kind of like the book of Proverbs, right?

This book is a great one for families, or little kids who like to read a story to their parents. I could even see it being used for a bible study at Sunday School or a Children’s Ministry. Definitely one that I would recommend and perfect for the Resurrection Celebration that will be here in just a few weeks. Glory to God for all of His marvelous robins here on earth and how now, every time I see the ones hopping around in our yard, will mean so much more!
