I received the “Jesus Today – Devotions for Kids” book from FlyByPromotions and couldn’t wait to read it!! We’ve had other books in our home by Sarah Young and absolutely love her writing style. The “Jesus Calling” daily devotional is one that my family uses for our morning devotion time. It’s aimed towards kids, but is perfect for families and having something to bring up conversation. The “Jesus Today” book is just the same.
I love being able to have time as a family, learning more about God’s Word and how we can apply it to our lives. The devotions in this book make it a way to see how God can use you, as well as learn His teaching even better. They each have verses that go with the teaching, and if you family uses a concordance, you can even delve deeper into the study, by seeing what else goes along with the verse that is included.
I would definitely recommend this book to any family that is wanting to spend time together in God’s Word and learn more about what we are to do and be in life. These small little pages have huge amounts of information and beneficial words that will last a lifetime. So forget that algebra homework, and start reading this….oh, what? Sorry my son, I tried!! 🙂 This would definitely be great to read after your homework time!

Looks like a great book to read together as a family and nice giveaway 🙂 We just finished this interactive bible app for kids and now need something else to read. I have two kids, so this would be a great way to learn more about Jesus with them!
